Because of his outstanding performance at primary school he was nicknamed as Muzaffer(meaning victorious) by his teacher. He could read and write using 'The Old Turkish Alphabet'. With his own efforts, later, he also learned how to read and write using 'The New Turkish Alphabet'

His first published work dates back to 1934. That was a long poem on laiziness. His second work was published in 1945. Both these works were written and published in Greek.(excerps from his poems will be reproduced here in these pages in due course).

He married in 1941 and had four childreen. He worked as a farmer. He was one of the pioneers of the village co-operative movement.

He adored and loved nature. One of his hobbies was land registry.

Those were the names that our folk poet was also known as. He published his works using the following names: Mustafa Muzaffer and Mustafa Ramata Yakkula.
